As time goes by, 2-stroke 46 size and 4-stroke 50~70 size models are becoming increasingly popular. Manufacturers around the world are now offering a variety of ARF aircraft. Many of these are intended for 3-D acrobatics with large control surfaces as well as scale aircraft with flaps and other operating features. Realizing the trend to this size aircraft, O.S. has introduced the FSa-72, that when installed in a 56 size model, will provide the extra power required for hovering and 3-D type maneuvers as well as higher torque for turning larger diameter propellers for more realistic scale flight. And, if you are into 4-stroke air racing events, the FSa-72s higher rpm capability will fill the need.
Light and compactSame mounting bolt pattern as the FL-70 and FS-70U for easy replacement.Same silencer as the FSa-81 which offers more pleasant exhaust sound with a lower sound level.Exhaust outlet direction and distance between exhaust port and silencer is adjustable.As with other FSa engines, ?Blow-by? internal oil system eliminates the need for a crankcase breather fitting.A broad power band suitable for Scale as well as Sport models.
